September opened on a strong note with the auction of Ladyrath, Castletown, a three-bedroom bungalow which achieved €295,000 – an exceptional result, coming in at €100,000 above the guide. This was swiftly followed by 9.8 acres at Boyerstown, Navan, which sold for €203,000, surpassing expectations by €28,000.
We then brought Red House Farm, comprising a residence on 7.5 acres, to the market. After lively bidding both in the room and online, the hammer fell at €432,000 – an impressive €132,000 above the guide. The highlight of the month to date was the sale of Rathnally, Trim, a 130-acre holding, which sold for €2,417,500, comfortably more than €200,000 above its guide price.
Four auctions, four resounding successes. The strong turnout in the auction room and the continued strength of online bidding underlined the depth of demand across all sectors of the market.
We now turn our attention to Bankstown, Baltray, a substantial 170-acre residential farm which goes to auction on September 30th. We look forward to rounding off what has already been a remarkable month with another fall of the hammer.
